Co-anchor Michael Strahan disappeared suddenly from 'Good Morning America' (GMA) in November 2023. He was absent from his hosting duties for nearly two weeks. He announced in January 2024 that one of his 19-year-old twin daughters had been diagnosed with a type of brain cancer.

I didn’t notice anything was off till probably like Oct. 1,” she said. “That’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn’t walk straight.
Isabella will begin receiving treatment for a malignant brain tumor at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center.
